Knowing what to post for social media can be the most intimidating challenge, at first, but it’s really quite simple once you map it out on a calendar.
Like any marketing plan, you often know ahead of time what seasonal, promotional events are coming up, you also know the inner workings of your business; i.e., what happens on Monday versus Friday and what drives your team and your customers. You also know behind the scenes, real life stuff that happens in your business world, that can be shared with your audience to help them build a valued relationship with you.
Social media doesn’t have to be approached from a dry, stale business approach. Quite the opposite actually. Think of your social media platforms as a virtual lobby where you great people and want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and stick around for a while. You’re hoping they find you engaging and eventually want to buy into your brands philosophies.
You’re simply taking those “feelings” and re-creating them in social media. Your colors, fonts, style, textures, personality, philosophies all having a place to come to life in the social sphere.
What behind the scenes pictures and content could you share with your social media fans, to help them really understand your companies uniqueness that sets you apart from the rest?
Are there any famous quotes or historic personalities that tie in with your brand?
Would love to hear your ideas in the comments below.
